While it is only December, the Government of Saskatchewan is allowing avid campers the opportunity to dream about their summer vacations.

The province has announced upcoming reservation dates for the 2018 camping season at provincial parks.

"For many people, visiting our provincial parks is a valued summer tradition that contributes to our great quality of life," Parks Minister Gene Makowsky stated. "Booking a site for the full season is a popular choice that allows for the best camping deal around and an entire summer spent making lifelong memories."

Application forms for seasonal sites will be available beginning January 3, with the deadline for applications being February 1.

Seasonal camping offers the opportunity to secure a site from the middle of May to the end of August, and at some locations, even into September.
