The disappearance of a 51-year-old woman from Saskatoon is now being treated as suspicious.

Saskatoon RCMP are continuing their investigation into the whereabouts of Sheree Fertuck.

Fertuck was last seen on the afternoon of Monday, December 7. At that time, she was leaving her family's farm yard east of Kenaston, driving her gravel truck.

The truck was located Tuesday morning at a gravel pit further east off Highway 15.

Police issued a statement on Friday acknowledging that given Fertuck's habit and predictable behaviour, they are now treating the investigation with extra care and suspicion.

Search efforts have been ongoing since Tuesday.

Residents in the area are being asked to check their property, buildings, and surrounding areas to determine if there are any items or indication of activity that appears to be out of the ordinary.

They specify shoe or vehicle tracks among the things to look for.

Furthermore, police ask that any information regarding sightings of Fertuck, general awareness about her gravel truck, or any suspicious activity noted between the hours of 1:00pm on Monday, December 8, and 8:00am on Tuesday, December 9, be directed to them.

As well, anyone who was travelling in the area during those hours and happened to take photos or video is asked to contact the Saskatoon RCMP at 306-975-5145, or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
