Those in the northeast who have a lower income can once again have their tax returns prepared for free, thanks to an organization.

Partners to End Poverty is teaming up with the Salvation Army, Eastern Region II - Metis Nation and Sasktel Pioneers to provide assistance to those who can't afford to have a return done at a business.

The clinics will be held at Salvation Army in Melfort, Nipawin and Tisdale:

  • Tuesday, March 7 and 14 (1:30 to 4:00pm) - Melfort
  • Thursday, March 9 and 16 (1:00 to 4:00pm, 5:00 to 7:00pm) - Melfort
  • Thursday, March 9 (10:00am to 5:00pm) - Nipawin
  • Friday, March 10 (10:00am to 7:00pm) - Nipawin
  • Thursday, March 16 (12:00 to 5:00pm) - Tisdale
  • Friday, March 17 (12:00 to 7:00pm) - Tisdale

Your T4, photo identification and other tax information slips are required upon visiting a clinic.
