The Humboldt and District Art Gallery is hosting another open workshop Saturday.

To help celebrate Earth Day on April 22, they are having an environmentally friendly craft day, according to Cultural Programmer Nicole Myker.

"We are going to be making paper with seeds," she stated. "We will be taking recycled paper and putting it in a blender with water, blend it all up, and then we're going to put some seeds in there, strain it, and we will create some recycled paper for you to plant when the weather is warmer and hopefully it will grow into some plants."

Myker noted why they elected to offer such a unique workshop.

"We just thought it would be environmentally friendly for one thing. Instead of using more paper, we can just re-use the paper we don't use."

The workshop will begin at 1:30pm.
