The St. Augustine Parish Hall turned into a pancake house on Sunday.

Knights of Columbus member Dennis Berting tells us why this event is important.

"The Knights usually do about nine breakfasts per year and we usually help different organizations that need money. We think the St. Elizabeth's Hospital Auxilliary is an important cause because they use the money to buy equipment at the hospital."

He tells us a little more about how the event worked.

"The Knights are doing the cooking, the Auxilliary Ladies are doing the cleaning, and all the proceeds go towards the St. Elizabeth's Hospital Auxilliary."

All the proceeds from the breakfast go towards new heart equipment for the hospital.

Berting adds that the turnout for Sunday's event was excellent.
