In less than a full week, The GoFundMe page for the Humboldt Broncos has climbed over ten million dollars.

The page began the night of the incident, April 6th and has grown to be the largest campaign in Canadian history. Two friends created the page the night of the accident with a goal of raising five thousand dollars and quickly surpassed that number once viewers began sharing the page on social media.

After day one, the page had already reached the million dollar mark. "As you know The Humboldt Broncos Junior A team was involved in a serious accident. Please help us raise money for the players and families affected. Money raised will go directly to families to help with any expenses incurred," organizer Sylvie Kellington said.

Over 117,000 donations have been made on the page as of Thursday afternoon (April 12).
