You have seen pieces of art, heard musicians performing, and listened to readings. Now, the Humboldt and District Gallery has something new.

They are offering memberships to the gallery, which allows you to expand your artistic side, says Cultural Programmer Nicole Myker.

"Learning from curators and artists, connecting with friends, sharing your talents and experiences in the arts," "As well as exploring fresh, new perspective on art."

With the memberships also comes benefits in the from of savings.

"Advance invitations to exhibition openings and programs. It includes a 10% discount on art workshop and programs, on rentals in the gallery, as well as purchases in our gallery gift shop," Myker said.

For two months, beginning in September, members can also submit pieces of art to be sold to the public.

"Anybody who is a member is allowed to submit pieces. Art work must be for sale, so it gives you an opportunity to sell your art work."

The members show and sale will run September 6 to November 5.

Memberships are available at the gallery at a cost of $15 for adults and $10 for students.
