Friday night was an entertaining one with a new event in Humboldt that no one had been apart of before, Music Bingo.

Big Brothers Big Sisters brought the event to Humboldt as a fundraiser for their organization and even though the crowd was small it was still successful.

Jodie Hergott, Development Coordinator with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Humboldt gives us some details on attendance.

"It wasn't really well attended we were competing with the Bronco game across the street, and that is understandable, but we had 30-40 people in there and they were very enthusiastic and they really enjoyed themselves."

The evening featured three different rounds of music bingo, mix, the eighties, and western music. Many different prizes were available to win as well as raffles.

Hergott talked about the different sponsors that donated prizes to the night, "Whitetail Distilleries were one of the sponsors and they provided quite a few of the larger prizes for the evening, Hergott Farm Equipment was also involved as well as the Bella Vista. There was a really good wall of prizes there for everyone to bingo for."

The fundraiser event brought in approximately $500.00 to $1000.00.

"For the amount of people that came out they were very generous and they jumped right on board sponsoring us and becoming part of the evening and that's great."

The people in attendance enjoyed the event so much that they have already asked when it is coming back.

Hergott says that maybe in the future they will host them again.
