Thirty more charges of break, enter and theft have been laid against an Alberta man.

Joseph Palmer of Eckville is accused in connection with multiple break-ins at businesses, trailers and other complexes across the province.

The area spans so far that 21 RCMP detachments across the province have worked on the investigation, with accusations stemming back to June 2015.

On August 28, Palmer was arrested by police in Moosomin after a report of a break and enter. He was then charged with:

  • Break and Enter x4
  • Possession of stolen property x7
  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Possession of a weapon obtained by crime
  • Careless storage of a firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Failing to comply with recognizance

The 30 new charges against him were handed down on October 19 in Broadview, where he appeared by video.
