Missoula Children's Theatre will be in Humboldt for six days, preparing a cast and crew for another show.

Hosted by Arts Humboldt, this is the fifth year in a row that the non-profit organization has been able to bring in Missoula.

Brian Grest with Arts Humboldt says it is always a joy to see the group in the city.

"They do an amazing job working with kids, preparing them to do the presentation on Saturday. We have two performances on Saturday."

Rapunzel will be the act performed, with show times at 3:00pm and 7:00pm.

Auditions for the show are taking place exclusively on Monday. They will be held at Humboldt Public School beginning at 6:30pm.

Grest says it is a chance for kids to get involved in something they don't get to see all too often.

"There's not a lot of opportunity for live performing arts in Humboldt right now," he explained. "Missoula used to come to Humboldt and then there was a gap for a number of years where it didn't. Arts Humboldt made sure that we brought it back."

He added that the interest has always showed, which is why it makes sense to keep bringing Missoula back.

"We've always had approximately 50 kids from K to 12 involved in the full week and the performances on the Saturday," said Grest.

Support from PCS Lanigan has been a big coup for Arts Humboldt in continuing to offer the opportunity to kids.

"Without their grant, we probably wouldn't be able to do this, because it would run quite a deficit."
