The merger between Saskatchewan's Potash Corporation and Agrium is in a slight hold up due to regulations.

The two sides say that the deal likely won't be official under the end of the year, instead of the originally anticipated mid-year completion.

It is expected that the merged company will be worth $36-billion.

Progress is being made on concerns raised in four countries, related to issues including superphosphoric acid, nitric acid, and divestment of minority interests.

Once complete, the new company, named Nutrien, will operate with its head office in Saskatoon, while maintaining a corporate office in Calgary.

PCS has locations at Lanigan, Allan, Rocanville, Patience Lake and Cory.
