Sasktel has expanded their LTE coverage which improves phone service for costumers around the Humboldt area.

Now, only eight percent of the province remains without LTE coverage until April when full coverage is anticipated.

This is part of their plan to invest in over $300 million in capital in 2016 and 2017, and $1.4 billion through to 2021.

LTE gives customers the ability to stream music, share videos and pictures, watch movies in HD, and play games at speeds that can be up to 10 times faster than 4G.

The list of towns in the area that have had their cell towers upgraded is below.

Humboldt, Anaheim, Imperial, Cudworth, Archerwill, Kelvington, Punnichy, Wadena, Quill Lake, Lanigan, Englefeld, Raymore, Watrous, Watson, Bruno, Fishing Lake, Rose Valley, Wynyard, Meacham, Yellow Quill First Nation, Naicam.
