Groups and organizations across the province are once again benefiting from quarterly payments from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority.
The charitable gaming grant program gives back a 25% share of net revenues to organizations who hold fundraising raffles, bingo, breakopen tickets, poker and Monte Carlo events.
Organizations in the Humboldt area will see over $109,000 given back this quarter, with just under $14,000 of that for groups in Humboldt:
- St. Augustine School Community Council - $6,238.50
- Humboldt Wildlife Federation - $2,420.51
- St. Elizabeth's Ladies Auxiliary - $1,672.39
- Friends of the 1st Westminster Scouts - $708.49
- Humboldt Co-operative Preschool - $496.75
- Humboldt Emergency Services - $490.00
- St. Mary's Villa Foundation - $366.25
- Humboldt Knights of Columbus - $223.88
- Peewee A Humboldt Broncos - $131.88
