The Humboldt Food Bank received a large amount of food from Humboldt Public School and Farm Credit Canada this week.

Farm Credit Canada runs the Drive Away Hunger Campaign all across Canada and has partnered with HPS for the past three years.

Students at HPS were sent home with bags to donate non-perishable food items.

Maria Leonard, a board member of the food bank, said this donation is one of the largest.

"The community of Humboldt and area are very supportive of the food bank." Says Leonard. "Providing donations and drives like these really make a difference. They help us out a lot."

All food donated by students is going straight to the Humboldt Food Bank.
