The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority has paid out final grants for 2017 stemming from their charitable gaming program.

Grants are based on a percentage of net proceeds raised through licensed activities like bingo, raffles, and breakopen tickets, among others.

"Groups and organizations that raise funds through charitable gaming activities receive additional dollars through the charitable gaming grant program," Minister responsible for SLGA, Gene Makowsky stated.

A total of $10,540.41 was handed out to Humboldt organizations, including the Humboldt Broncos, who had the highest dollar amount at $5,256.42.
