The Humboldt & District Gallery is very focused on showcasing local talent in the area.
From September 6th till November 5th, artists from the area will fill the Humboldt & District Galleries wall's with their own creations. The showcase is all a part of the Galleries Members Show and Sale.
Nicole Myker the cultural programmer with the gallery is very excited about their first exhibit.
"We have, A Sense of Place, it features local artist Bob Pitzel and another artist Bryce Erickson."
Bob Pitzel and Bryce Erickson will showcase their collection of rural/prairie oil and water colour paintings at the Gallery till October 23.
A Sense of Place is up and ready for viewing, but Myker hopes many come out for the opening reception.
"September 8 at the 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to come down and talk to the artist ask some questions and see some fantastic art."
For a small community Humboldt is rich with local artists, something Myker said became apparent when the gallery had a call for members this past month.
"We've had many artists from not only the Humboldt area but also the surrounding area including Saskatoon register"
