The LeRoy Wildlife Federation is working towards sending a 12-15-year-old boy or girl or even one of each to the Wildlife camp up by Prince Albert.

Shirley Dyke, a member of the LeRoy Wildlife Federation, is hopeful for the chance to send a youth to camp.

"They learn a lot of things there about the outdoors, how to clean fish, gut a deer. They learn a lot of things there."

The Federation is also looking to restock their fish pond.

The fish pond in LeRoy is open to the members of the LeRoy branch and they hope to stock it well again this year. Last year they had about 350 fish in the pond.

The LeRoy Wildlife Federation is hosting their awards banquet and dance event April 21st. Tickets will be at the door.
