Parents, staff, and students of Wynyard were uneasy during a meeting held in regards to teacher transfers on June 6th.

Kevin Garinger, Director of education for Horizon School Division answered dozens of questions on the matter of teacher transfers.

The meeting with Mr. Garinger and the community of Wynyard was organized in the wake of the transfer of Mrs. Reeve of Wynyard Elementary.

Mrs. Reeve has taught at Wynyard Elementary for 13 years now.

Although Mrs. Reeves received information in late June that she would be Transferred to Punnichy Elementary, Mrs. Reeves will remain in Wynyard for next school year.
