With the Humboldt Summer Sizzler underway, the Humboldt JCI's are gearing up for their annual cabaret taking place Friday night.

This year's entertainment will be provided by Kal Hourd and the Last Mountain Revival.

Trevor Galka with the Humboldt JCI chapter went over a few of the evening's details, "admission is free to the cabaret but we will also be taking donations at the door with all of the proceeds from this event going towards the exhibition grounds out by the airport that are being developed right now."

DJ Longhorn will start the party when doors open at 9pm, Kal Hourd will start his set at 10.

"We can't wait to be there we've got our set ready to go and we're going to bring a DJ this time which is something a little bit different so when we do a set instead of taking a break where there's a lull in the entertainment, DJ Longhorn is going to take over and keep the crowd going and keep it exciting" explained Hourd.

Hourd has performed at the sizzler cabaret three times but hasn't done so since 2011.

This is a 19+ event so ID will need to be provided at the door.
