Drivers should have a smoother ride along the re-graded section of Highway 20 just north of Humboldt this summer.

Crews are working on the base of the road, and once the frost comes out they'll be able to add a double-seal surface to make it dust-free, Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure spokesman Steve Shaheen said in an email.

The work is expected to be done by July.

The stretch of road has been raised due to flooding in previous years.

Paving is also being done on Highway 5 near Wadena, and work is being done on 368 north of Highway 5.
