Humboldt, Watrous and surrounding communities are under a special weather statement.

Throughout the duration of Thursday evening to Friday, portions of Southern Saskatchewan will be affected by a low-pressure system that will bring a risk of freezing rain.

The freezing rain will spread from west-central to south-eastern Saskatchewan throughout Friday.

Major highways such as the Yellowhead, Highway 11, and the Trans-Canada between Regina and Brandon, MB, look to be at risk for some amounts of freezing rain overnight.

Updates to come when available.
