The Humboldt Petro Canada on the corner of Glenn Hall Drive and Main Street will be without fuel for the next little while.

Petro Canada gas stations across Western Canada are now out of fuel and will remain that way until Suncor, the company that supplies Petro Canada fuel, can find enough fuel to meet the need.

Due to an unplanned outtage at Suncor headquarters in Edmonton, the company expects stations across western canada to be out of fuel for the time remaining.

The wildfires in Fort McMurray are also to blame for the outtages.

The Humboldt Petro-Canada ran out of fuel Friday evening, and Suncor is in the process of finding more gasoline to provide for the empty stations.

For the time being, premium gasoline is being sold to customers at regular fuel price during the shortage.
