The Humboldt and District Museum is inviting you to take part in their new workshop Saturday.

They are offering snow globe making lessons, which tags along with a current theme at the museum according to Cultural Programmer Leah Terry.

"Its in conjunction with our current exhibit at the museum, Hello In There, Hello Out There," she stated. "We encourage families to drop by. It is a fun way to make your own memory in a jar."

The workshop is being put on for two weekends, with a St. Patrick's Day theme for the March 12 session, and a spring theme for March 19.

If you wish to create snow globes that involve family, that option is available.

"They can certainly bring pictures if they have them, if they want to create a jar of memories from their own experiences," noted Terry. "They can use our materials, we have all sorts of fun sparkles. Last week we made snowmen."

She added that the Hello In There, Hello Out There exhibit will be on display until March 23.
