Remembrance day remembers those who have fallen while serving and those who continue to serve our country today.

Wednesday, the community will gather at the St. Augustine Roman Catholic church to do just that.

Rev. Al Hingley tlaks about the importance of setting a day aside to remember.

"We remember out of gratitude on Remembrance day and we wear a poppy out of respect for those many Canadians who gave the government a blank cheque when they signe dup, that coul dbe redeemed even if it meant life itself that was somehting to be honoured and to be respected and we must never forget."


Those wishing to attend the remembrance day service are asked to be seated by 10:30 with the service beginning at 11am.

Everyone is invited to the legion hall after the service according to Hingley, "we will go to the legion hall for lunch and fellowship and enetrtainment and an opportunity if you wish to come visit the museum.

The legion will also host a supper at 5:30. Tickets are available at the legion clubroom for $20 an adult and $10 for children under the age of 8.
