Another summer means markets are being held every Saturday at the Community Gathering Place.

Vegetables, meat, eggs, fruit, and more can be found at the Humboldt Farmers Market, now being held every Saturday at the market.

Heather Crone, a vendor and Manager of the Market, talks about the benefits of going outdoors.

"Business is great, especially when we have sunny weather. We can be outside at the Market and it brings a lot more people."

Crone says the vegetable season is well under way.

"The vegetable crop will go on as long as we have something in the garden. There's lots of things available right now, and we have opportunity to store it after the winter has come."

Crone explains what makes the Humboldt Farmers Market unique.

"We are unique in the way that we have five vendors now, and we are very widely diversified. Everything from meat and eggs to vegetables, preserves, crafts... You name it, we got it!"

The farmers markets now have five vendors instead of four, and are open from 9AM until noon.
