Humboldt's Farmers Markets have returned for another year.

The Farmer's Market took a brief two month break before coming back on Saturday.

Heather Crone is the Market Manager for the Humboldt Farmers Market.

She talks about the feeling of coming back.

"It's wonderful to be back. The weather is gorgeous and we're look forward to lots of people coming to visit us every Saturday."

Crone explains what makes the Farmer's Market important.

"The Farmer's Market is important because everything we bring is home made, home grown, home baked. It's a one of a kind chance to shop local and shop healthy."

The first market of 2017 was held Saturday from 10 until 1, and saw two vendors attend.

Crone says she would love to see growth this year.

"We would love to see our market grow. We are looking for people that have home made, home grown, home baked things, that they want to showcase. Come on down and check us out, we're here every second Saturday now until June, then every Saturday until Christmas."

The Market is open 10 until 1 every second Saturday until June, which is when markets will switch to 9 until noon.
