The first of three Summer Programs took place at the Humboldt & District Gallery on Friday, July 26th.

Flower Rock Painting took place from 10-12 says, Katie Sully, a summer student at the gallery.

"what we did was we had them do a matching game, so we had flowers that we had made into matching cards to represent the prairie flowers and grasses, then we proceeded to do the rock painting."

The flowers that the kids painted were Saskatchewan native plants.

"I had things like the tiger lily, petunia, pansies and different things to represent Saskatchewan."

Two more events are taking place on August 2nd and on Aug 9th.
