People from Humboldt and area spent the weekend touring Elgar Peterson Area and Jubilee Hall at the annual Humboldt Chamber Tradeshow.

Andre Kruger, the Chamber President says the tradeshow is great opportunity for them to learn about business in Humboldt and get an outside perspective about what they should be adding.

"Yes it's nice for the community to see the businesses that we have locally. It's also an opportunity for us to talk to the visitors coming here to find out what they would like to see."

Final attendance numbers are not in, but Kruger was very impressed with the early indications.

"I checked at the front door this morning, in the first hour we had 105 visitors walk through which is fantastic! It's busy, we've had lots of people at the show and lots of people are happy. I spoke with some of them and they are  very happy with the show this year."

There were lots of displays which covered a  wide variety of industries including motorsports, home decor, health and wellness and more.

Kruger would like encourage new businesses to contact the Chamber if they are interested in being a part of the tradeshow.

The Humboldt Chamber would also like to extend a thank-you to the Humboldt Broncos who helped with setup on Friday.
