The proposed distribution plan was approved this morning in Saskatoon Court of Queen's Bench.

The Humboldt Broncos GoFundMe fund is on the verge of being finalized.

On November 22nd the Saskatoon Court of Queen's Bench received a final application regarding the decision on how the funds should be separated between the families.

The court will be looking at the application on Wednesday, November 28th at 10 am, in hopes of a final decision. The final application states to split the money between all 29 families, who fell victim the Humboldt Broncos bus crash on April 6th, 2018.

Back on August 15th, Saskatoon Court Of Queen's Bench approved a $50,000 interim payment to all the families. If the proposal of the Humboldt Broncos GoFundMe is approved for payout as presented, the families who lost a loved one in the crash will receive a final distribution of $475,000 which would total at $525,000 distribution. As for the surviving members of the crash, they would receive a final distribution of $425,000 which would total a $475,000 distribution.

The funds were raised after Sylvie Kellington and Cailin Hergott started the GoFundMe page to help out families with hospital fees and small things during their time of need.

"Our original goal was just to pay for coffee and parking for the families at Royal University Hospital, and maybe the meals. We just had very limited goals because we didn't think it would go very far."
