57 fewer students are enrolled in Horizon School Divisions this year than 2015-16.

According to the HSD's numbers they saw increases in the communities of Archerwill, Imperial, Bulyea, Humboldt, Nokomis, Watrous and Foam Lake.

Humboldt Pubic School saw a significant hike of 24 students up to 320. Humboldt Collegiate increased by six.

Wynyard Elementary also jumped by 21 students, Cudworth School spiked by 22 kids, and also in the northern region Wakaw School climbed by 18. Winston High School in Watrous has 17 more students enlisted this year too.

Some seeing noticeable decreases were Foam Lake(-14), Lanigan Central High School(-14), Punnichy Community School(-17), Raymore School(-34), Three Lakes School in Middle Lake(-21) and Watson School(-16).

These numbers include pre-kindergarten to grade 12. They also count 75 home-based students and 9 Distance Education students.
