Not to be lost in Wednesday's civic election was the vote for the Horizon School Division board of education positions.

The HSD is comprised of 14 subdivisions covering almost 50 schools and many more communities within the east-central region.

Six subdivisions were acclaimed ahead of the voting day;

Subdivision 2-Linda Mattock (Annaheim, Lake Lenore, St Brieux, Middle Lake(Three Lakes), Humboldt{HPS & HCI).
Subdivision 3-Jennifer Lemky (Viscount Central, Watrous Elementary, Winston High School(Watrous).
Subdivision 10-Jim Hack (Ituna, Foam Lake Elementary & Composite).
Subdivision 12-Benny (Paul) Crowe-Buffalo (Punnichy Elementary Community School, Punnichy Community High School).
Subdivision 13-Albert Pinacie (Punnichy High School).
Subdivision 14-Sheryl Kayseas (Wadena Elementary School & Wadena Composite High School).

The following individuals have been voted in as confirmed by Returning Officer Marilyn Flaman.

Subdivision 1-David Holinaty (Bruno School, Cudworth School, Wakaw School).
Subdivision 4-Mark Fedak (Muenster School, Watson School, Lanigan Elementary School & Lanigan Central High School).
Subdivision 5-Lori-Anne Proznick (LeRoy School, Wynyard Elementary School & Wynyard Composite High School).
Subdivision 6-Christine Gradin (Quill Lake School,Lakeside Colony School, Wadena Elementary School & Wadena Composite High School).
Subdivision 7-Will Lengyel (Archerwill School, Rose Valley School, Robert Melrose Elementary School(Kelvington) and Kelvington High High School).
Subdivision 8-Cheryl Vertefeuille (Imperial School, Schell School(Holdfast), Bulyea Elementary School, William Derby School(Strasbourg).
Subdivision 9-Jolene Koopman (Drake School, Nokomis School, Punnichy Elementary Community School, Pummuchy Community High School, Raymore School, Sask Central Hetterian School).
Subdivision 11-Nathan Bitternose (George Gordon Education Centre).

In the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division subdivision 2, Humboldt's Debora Berscheid was acclaimed, that includes St. Dominic School and St. Augustine School.
