The Horizon School Division released September 30 enrolment numbers for the 2017-2018 school year on Tuesday.

Overall, enrolment is up by one student across the division.

The biggest jump came at Humboldt Collegiate Institute, where 20 more students are attending classes for a total of 390 students.

George Gordon was one behind HCI at a gain of 19 students, while Raymore saw an increase of 15 students.

Among the biggest drops were in Punnichy, where the elementary school is down 37 students, and the high school is down 21 students.

Humboldt Public School ranked third in having fewer students with a drop of 16.

There are also 27 more kids being home school within the division, which jumped from 75 to 102 students.
