Continued efforts to promote anti-bullying were on a global stage on Wednesday, as the International Day of Pink was recognized.

The day is in addition to Red Cross Pink Day, which is typically held in February each year.

At Three Lakes School in Middle Lake, a busy week for the school led to no formal speakers being brought in this year, but Secretary Wanda Krentz says that they have had many people in over the years.

"We've had speakers come in, the (Saskatchewan Roughriders) come in, there has been numerous people come in and talk about bullying."

Krentz says that reaction from students at the school is always positive towards the day.

"They love it. It is like a spirit day when everybody dresses the same. This kind of thing too, they see everybody supporting it and they think it is awesome."

Across the Horizon School Division, schools took part in the day in their own way. You can see some of the photos below, courtesy of the division's Twitter page.
