The Horizon School Division's Board of Education held their annual organizational meeting on Monday.

Coming out of the meeting was a return to the positions of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for a pair of trustees.

Jim Hack will remain as Board Chair, while staying on as Vice-Chair is Will Lengyel.

"I want to thank my fellow trustees for the nomination, and for their confidence to elect me as the Board Chair for another year," stated Hack. "Horizon School Division has seen many positive changes in recent years to the benefit of our students, families, staff, and communities."

Hack was re-elected by voters in Ituna and Foam Lake last October, and has served as Board Chair since 2011.

Lengyel is the trustee for Subdivision 7, which overlooks Archerwill, Rose Valley, and Kelvington's two schools.
