The National Hockey League Players’ Association and the National Hockey League are coming to Humboldt to host Humboldt Hockey Day on August 24th, 2018.

Some other names of past and present NHL players to go along with Washington Capitals forward and Saskatoon native Chandler Stephenson have been announced. Stephenson will be joined by a group of more than 15 current and former NHL players, featuring Brayden Schenn, Scott Hartnell, Adam Graves and Wade Redden.

In addition to the Stanley Cup, there will be a Hockey Hall of Fame display, interactive games, and a Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame exhibit trailer for people to tour. There also will be two pick-up street hockey rinks located in the curling rink where local kids will have the opportunity to play shinny with the NHL players.

The Broncos will have Humboldt Strong merchandise for sale, with proceeds going to the Humboldt Strong Community Foundation.
