Some local community members got a chance to walk the catwalk to fundraise for a local outreach group.
Humboldt and District Community Services (HDCS) held their third annual fall fashion show.
The event took place at the Bella Vista, and was very well attended.
Royal Bank Canada of Humboldt provided a 1000 dollar donation on the night, as well as 3 staff volunteers.
The 50-50 winner decided to give the 550 dollar prize straight back into the HDCS.
The Humboldt and District Community Services organization has been in operation for the past 18 years.
Juanine Korte is the executive director with the HDCS. She told us why it is important to have in the city of Humboldt.
"The community has always been a wonderful support to us. We always pride ourselves in making sure the needs of all citizens are taken care of."
She also said the event could not have taken place without the help of Cottage Boutique, and Judy and her staff at the Bella Vista.
