On a quarter of land just south of Humboldt, Pattison Agriculture employees were hard at work to get the crop off for the "Seed for Green, Harvest for Gold Project."

The Barley was swathed on August 21st while three combines were brought in on the 22nd to get the crops off as quickly as possible. The combines started around 11 A.M. and were finished about 3 hours later. The grain sold, with the fund going to the Humboldt Broncos.

Wade Prouse, Sales Manager with Pattison, stated,"The Accident was such a blow to the entire community, and we all felt for that, just going back to four years ago, that's something that Saskatchewan people do, is step up and help."

Throughout the years, companies in the area of Humboldt have contributed their time and resources to get the crop off for the Green and Gold. This is the fourth year the Broncos have leased the quarter of land. Unfortunately, the lease ends next year. So, unless the Broncos want to lease it again, the field will be passed on to someone else. Which will be up to the new President of the Broncos, Jamie Brockman.
