With harvest held to a complete stop, farmers and others could make it on down to the Harvest Barbeque and Bake Sale.

The third annual Harvest Barbeque and Bake Sale took place at Watson New Horizons on Friday at 11:30 A.M.

The Barbeque was run by the Watson Community Club to raise fund for the 70 plus supper. The 70 plus supper is a dinner that takes place every year during December for people 70 years or older in and around the community of Watson.

People could purchase a single burger for $8 and a double for $10 along with a dessert and drink. It was estimated that between 100 and 150 people came for the barbeque.

The amount of Money raised is unknown at this point.
