Humboldt-Watrous Member of Legislative Assembly Donna Harpauer has made her choice in who she wants to see lead the province.

Harpauer has endorsed former Environment Minister Scott Moe, after he made his intentions to run official on Friday.

Moe, like Harpauer, comes from rural Saskatchewan. The MLA for Rosthern-Shellbrook was raised on a farm near Shellbrook.

Harpauer is from a farm near Guernsey.

The current Finance Minister, Harpauer, joined 19 other MLA's in endorsing Moe when he announced his leadership candidacy.

Members will select the new Sask Party leader on January 27, 2018, with the winner not only leading the party, but also becoming Premier of Saskatchewan.
