Worldwide support for the families of the victims involved in Friday night's accident involving the Humboldt Broncos 

In less than 48 hours, the page set up by local hairdresser Sylvie Kellington late Friday after hearing the news exceeded the $4 million threshold. 

"As you know The Humboldt Broncos Junior A team was involved in a serious accident. Please help us raise money for the players and families affected. Money raised will go directly to families to help with any expenses incurred," posted organizer Sylvie Kellington on the page.

The page was started late Friday night and by midnight, had exceeded the $1 million mark.

Several local businesses and individuals in Humboldt, and communities across East Central Saskatchewan, are hosting their own fundraisers this upcoming week with proceeds going towards the Humboldt Broncos fund.
