Wreaths, wreaths and more wreaths!

The Humboldt and District Gallery is once again host to the annual Festival of Wreaths. The fundraiser is taking place starting now until December 6th and on the 7th there will be a live auction. This is the 19th annual festival of wreaths held in Humboldt, with the proceeds going to the Friends of the Museum and Gallery organization.

Jean Price, Museum Supervisor told us just how important this fundraiser is to not only the gallery and museum but for Christmas enthusiasts alike. "This is a very important fundraiser, this is one of the biggest fundraisers Friends of the Museum does every year, and it does engage a great majority of the community." She went on "We have businesses in the community that has donated towards each of the 19 fundraisers in past years, which goes to show the giving nature within the community of Humboldt."

There are over 109 local artists' work available to view and purchase. The festival of wreaths is a staple event in the community of Humboldt, and annually attracts likes of all kinds of local citizens.
