While the sun continues to shine and temperatures stay warm during the day, the night is getting cooler in Humboldt and area.

The first frost advisory of the season went out on Monday night, with a risk of frost in parts of the province, including Humboldt.

Although the low for the night was still five degrees, the temperature was forecasted to drop to anywhere between two and four degrees in other parts of the region.

Environment Canada noted that widespread frost is not expected at this time, and temperatures will bounce back as the week goes on.

Tuesday night's low is once again forecasted to be five, with the temperature jumping back up to double digits for the remainder of the week, as a ridge of high-pressure moves in.

Daytime highs will be in the mid to high 20's for most of the week.
