Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for the area this morning.

A warm front is bringing freezing rain to the yellowhead corridor this morning. The risk of freezing rain will cease toward noon on Friday, November 8th.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
