Another festival of Wreaths took place Thursday night at the Humboldt and District Gallery.

Wreaths and various other Christmas decorations were bid on to raise money.

Jean Price is from the Humboldt and District Gallery.

She talks about where the money goes towards.

"The money that was raised last night goes to the Friends of the Museum and Gallery. The Friends are a big part of the Museum and Gallery, they raise funds that goes directly into programming."

Price says this couldn't have been done without volunteers and donations.

"First of all, I'd like to thank the Friends for all the work they do for us, both during the festival and throughout the year, they're a wonderful help to us. And to all the volunteers who came out last night and helped it all run smoothly, and to everyone who donated items to the Festival of Wreaths. It would have been a pretty dull auction without those items, so thank you to everyone, it was wonderful."

Price explains there is more coming up for the Gallery in the new year.

"We have our concert series that will be picking up again in February with Eric Harper on February 4th, and the Middle Coast on February 24th. We also have two new exhibits opening right at the beginning of January and we're working right now on a Winter Art Exhibit at the Gallery with a couple of school groups."
