In Humboldt and surrounding areas support is always available, even during the holidays, for anyone going through a form of a mental health concern.

The Mental Health and Addiction services are open over the holidays from Mon-Friday from 8:00-4:30 and the services are free and anyone can walk in. 

Partners Family Services is open 24/7 over the holidays. 

"At Mental Health and Addiction Services, we have four social workers that are trained and provide services to adults, youths, children and families. We have one addiction counselor, one mental health nurse and two psychiatrists that come to Humboldt once a month," said Amand Shadbolt with Mental Health and Addiction Services.

"Some common areas that we see and treat are anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, addictions, suicidal thoughts, any relationship concerns or self-esteem issues, and stressful life events."

Anyone who is experiencing any form of mental health concerns can visit Mental Health and Addiction Services at their location in the community services wing at the Humboldt District Health Complex or call 306-682-5333.
