Following 78 days on the campaign trail, the longest federal election in Canadian history is set to close on Monday.

Polls are open for 12 hours from 7:30am to 7:30pm as you head to vote in the 42nd general election.

In Humboldt, you can vote for your Carlton Trail-Eagle Creek candidate at Jubilee Hall.

Ensure you bring your voter information card for a quick and smooth process in line. One piece of identification is still needed, as the card does not suffice as official ID. Also, be sure your piece of ID has your home address listed on it, and that it matches the address on the voter registration with Elections Canada.

Your voter information card is not required to vote, but it does ensure a quicker process.

If you are not registered to vote, or are not sure which piece of ID is accepted on election day, you can find a full list by clicking here.

Once polls end, election coverage will begin on air with 107.5 Bolt FM. A live stream can be found here.

Before you head to vote, be sure to refresh your voting memory with your riding candidates.
