On the campaign trail for the first time, Humboldt's Adam Duke is vying for votes in his home riding of Humboldt-Watrous.

Duke has experience assisting others seeking public support, as he was campaign manager for Glenn Wright in the Federal riding of Carlton Trail-Eagle Creek.

The 28-year-old is an active volunteer in Humboldt, serving on the board for the Community Gathering Place and is also Branch Service Officer for the Royal Canadian Legion in the city.

For his past volunteer efforts, Duke was named 2013 Junior Citizen of the Year.

During the Humboldt-Watrous election forum held March 22, the candidates were asked several questions. Duke's responses are below.

1) What are your views on infrastructure spending?

2) What is the main issue for this riding?

3)What would you do to help young farmers have access to farm land?

4) What portfolio would you choose if you were elected and given a ministry to lead?

5) What are your thoughts on the privatization of the crown corporations?

6) What do you feel about LEAN?

7) What are your thoughts on passing lanes on Saskatchewan's highways?

8) Where do you feel the money will come from to continue to spend and move Saskatchewan forward?

9) What would you do for the business community if elected?

10) Can you speak about the budget for the province?

11) Can you touch on what you would do to increase purchasing from local businesses?
