A Tisdale area man is facing a list of charges following a domestic disturbance.

The RCMP say around 9 o' clock Saturday morning they attended a home where a 70 year-old woman had been assaulted, allegedly by her husband.

A 53 year-old man did turn himself into the Tisdale RCMP detachment, he is facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, choking to overcome resistance as well as uttering threats.

He will appear in court in Tisdale on Tuesday.
