Diamonds of Detroit will be serving lunch on Tuesday in honour of Nina Schidlowsky.

The BBQ runs from 11am to 1:30pm at the Extra Foods entrance.

$5 gets you a burger and a pop with all of the proceeds going to the Nina Schidlowsky Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Schidlowsky recently lost her battle with aplastic anemia.

Diamonds of Detroit is hosting the BBQ with help from Sobeys, Extra Foods, Accent Insurance, and the Co-op Food Store.
