A cheque presentation to the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation (HDHF) took place on November 14th at Diamonds of Detriot with the funds coming from the Diamond Dash competition in Humboldt.

The competition saw teams use clues to dash around a scavenger hunt in Humboldt where they would perform tasks to collect points. The prize on the line was a diamond ring from Diamonds of Detroit. There was an entry fee for the competing teams with all the proceeds going to the HDHF.

"We'll put the money towards our general equipment fund, and it will help us purchase equipment. Every little bit helps so that's fantastic, we're very happy," said Lorrie Bunko, Executive Director of the HDHF.

This was the second running of the Diamond Dash in Humboldt. "The event itself was awesome. We took feedback from the participant from the first one and incorporated in this years event, it was a lot of fun, a lot more challenging," said Bunko.

It doesn't take any clues to know that any money raised towards the HDHF is money well raised.
